"LOOK AT ME!" EXHIBITION AT PERA MUSEUM The exhibition entitled "Look at me!", organized by Pera Museum in cooperation with "la Caixa" Foundation, examines the portraits from contemporary art with a selection of works of painting, photography, sculpture and video belonging to the "la Caixa" collection.

The exhibition, in which 22 artists are inviting art-lovers to look at portraits from a social perspective, features works from artists like Janine Antoni, Eduardo Arroyo, Juan Navarro Baldeweg, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Christian Boltanski, Rineke Dijkstra, Marlene Dumas, Esther Ferrer, Günther Förg, Curro González, Stefan Hablützel, Roni Horn, There are works by Sharon Lockhart, Pedro Mora, Vik Muniz, Óscar Muñoz, Bruce Nauman, Carlos Pazos, Cindy Sherman, Antoni Tàpies, Gillian Wearing and Sue Williams.

"Look at me!: ‘La Caixa’ Portraits and Other Fiction from the Contemporary Art Collection" exhibition consists of four thematic sections examining portraits: "Staged Emotions", "Reconciliation  Regarding Identity", "Masks and Other Fiction" and "Memory of the Face". In the works selected from the "la Caixa" Collection on the basis of these themes, some artists are interested in the anonymity of the portraits, while others are focusing on the problem of representing the identity. Some works depict a human figurine or face, while others depict distinctive symbols of societies.

"Look at me!" La Caixa "Portraits and Other Fiction from the Contemporary Art Collection" exhibition can be visited until 4 March 2018.

The Pera Museum is open between Tuesdays and Saturdays from 10:00 to 19:00 and Sundays from 12:00 to 18:00.
