MİNİATÜRK, TURKEY’S FIRST MINIATURE PARK HAS BEEN VISITED BY 5 MILLION PEOPLE IN PAST 5 YEARS. Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality’s Culture Corporation has announced that Miniatürk which was opened in 2003 has been visited by 5 million domestic and foreign travellers in past five years. Miniatürk has attracted 1 million visitors in 2015 most of them domestic travellers.

Miniatürk which combines a number of cultural and civilisation traces including Hagia Sophia, Selimiye, Rumeli Hisarı (Rumelian Castle), Galata Tower, Safranbolu Houses, Sümela Monastery, Dome of the Rock and Mount Nemrut reminiscent has been visited by 5 million people between 2010 - 2015 and most of the visitors in recent year were domestic travellers.

129 models in 1/25 scales of selected architectural works from Turkish and Ottoman territories are exhibited in Miniatürk which also hosts ancient buildings like the Temple of Artemisia, Halicarnassus Mausoleum and Ajyad Fortress that have not survived until today.
