TURKEY INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP WEEK STARTS Turkey Innovation Week, which has been held since 2012 by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) and played a major role in the expansion of innovation culture, also includes the spirit of entrepreneurship this year. With its new name, Turkey Innovation and Entrepreneurship Week will take place between 6-9 December at the ICC-Istanbul Congress Center.

Turkey Innovation and Entrepreneurship Week aims to make Istanbul an international entrepreneurship center by bringing all stakeholders of entrepreneurship together. One of the events to be organized in this framework is the "Born Global Istanbul", which aims to provide opportunities for new startups.

The "Born Global Istanbul" includes investment networks, venture houses, incubation centers, technoparks, technology companies, and hundreds of entrepreneurs looking for investment and growth.

Local and foreign speakers, who will contribute to the spread of innovation culture and entrepreneurship spirit in Turkey for four days, will speak at 36 panels and 19 conferences.

Among the speakers are Sergio Canavero, who attracts attention with the first ever human head transplant; David Noordan Sharkey, whose ideas are frequently referred to in the areas of robotics and artificial intelligence; David Rowan, the editor of Wired magazine; as well as John Matonis, a leading cryptocurrency and particularly Bitcoin expert.
